Have you ever seen Trigun? Well if you haven't, Vash is the tall lanky, spiky blonde-haired android with the heart of gold. Erica has convinced me, and I have begun to take the necessary steps in order to become Vash by Halloween. I have the hair down already, pretty much.

The final product! We decided to go as a theme to Beth's party, the gang from Trigun! Walking down the street to the party, we had a lot of people in cars honk at us in recognition. I helped Mike build a seven-foot cross replica of the one used in the show, sans rocket launcher and hidden arsenal. Erica hand-sewed and crafted her very cute Kuroneko costume (the cat that appears in every episode). Special thanks to Mom and Janice, who took many hours out of their time to make this beautiful coat for me.

Ok so the reason i'm shirtless in these pictures is because i was shaving off my goatee! I wanted to see how the glasses worked with a clean-shaven Vash face. Also the shiny red thing you see me holding in the bottom picture is the fabric I bought to build the coat. More pictures will be posted here as progress occurs.
